Health Ambassador
Kingdom Kare, Inc.’s Health Ambassador Program equips trusted community members to serve as frontline connectors between families and essential health, wellness, and mental-health resources. In partnership with the Anne Arundel County Health Department, Health Ambassadors provide outreach, education, referrals, and culturally responsive support to individuals and families experiencing health disparities, stress, food insecurity, and access-to-care barriers. The program also offers Mental Health First Aid training for adults and youth, equipping participants to recognize warning signs, respond appropriately to mental-health crises, and connect individuals to professional support. Rooted in trust, prevention, and community presence, the Health Ambassador Program strengthens protective factors and promotes healthier, more stable households across Anne Arundel County.
